2 Ways to Wear a Long Suede Coat for Fall

I don't know about you, but 90 percent of my wardrobe is hibernating. Since the start of the pandemic-lockdown-quarantine I've been living in comfy clothes, slippers and no makeup. Except for the occasional virtual meeting with clients, it's work-from-home lounge outfits 24/7. Now I know I'm not alone and that I'm super fortunate that I can work from home (shout-out to essential workers!), but when an opportunity comes up to revisit my former fashion life, I jump at it.

I recently did a photo shoot in collab with Kollectin and decided to style myself in fall retro vibes to go along with their fabulous jewelry. Hubby bought this amazing long suede coat for me in the early 2000s and it's one of those pieces that's funky, but timeless. It's obviously amazing with high-waisted flared jeans and a t-shirt, but I wanted to expand out of that idea and pair it with two cute fall dresses and boots. So I woke up a few pieces from hibernation and gave them a day out. Hope this inspires you to re-imagine how you style some of your favorite fall coats!
