All Dressed Up And Somewhere To Go

This past weekend I had the chance to go see the American Ballet Theatre and Principal Misty Copeland dance in the iconic "Firebird" at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles. To say I was excited would be the understatement of the year. More like dream come true. The whole company was amazing and Misty was everything I hoped she would be -- gorgeous, athletic, graceful, artistic -- with the gnarliest, most beautiful ballet feet I've ever seen. I was seated so close that I could see the sweat whipping off the dancers as the did their fouette turns. I almost cried.

But what to wear to such a momentous occasion? For L.A., people were dressed up. Some amazing outfits. I decided on a classic with a twist -- a beautiful black lace dress from Zara highlighted by some fiery orange pumps, coral pink earrings and a big gold statement cuff bracelet. Oh, and a fab leopard purse (from Poshmark, of course).
