How I Styled a Totally Bitchin' Sweater

Ah, the 1980s. Lace, acid wash, Madonna, Frankie Say Relax, bolo ties, preppy, endless uses of the salmon and mint green color combo. Good times. I like this vintage sweater because it captures the essence of a decade without being too over-the-top. I'm not looking to leave the house in full-on neon while rocking a Flock of Seagulls hairdo. But a touch of nostalgia is good for the soul every once in awhile.

I completed my look with more nods to the 80's: bright pumps, plastic hoop earrings and aviator sunglasses. And no, the pants don't have zippers at the ankles.
